Dance!

Another dance competition behind us. This one was in Long Island and J's studio did GREAT! J was in 8 numbers over 2 days and got all HIGH GOLD AND PLATINUM awards. her solo, duet, and 2 group numbers won the Judges Choice "Intensity" award. They also placed in the top 5. I bought 2 videos and the whoe CD of photos from her solo. Here's a couple of shots from Saturday. I guess they are pretty "intense", lol:

I'm Angela living in NYC with dh (B) and we have 3 adult kids. Oldest dd (K) homeschooled for 8th grade, then went to a journalism high school, and is an Aveda graduate. She is now married and owns a beautiful upscale hair salon in Long Island. Youngest dd (J) homeschooled from 3rd to 8th grade. She then went to LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts (The Fame School) and then to a musical theater conservatory. She is now a competition dance instructor and professional photographer who is married and has her own baby girl now. Ds (W) homeschooled from Kindergarten to 12th grade. His lifelong interest in computers has led him to a great career in cybersecurity. We were Charlotte Mason unschoolers for the majority of our homeschooling and we always made sure to take advantage of the abundant resources, experiences, and opportunities this amazing city had to offer.
