I haven't been much in the mood to blog for the last couple of days. Christmas blues, I guess.

I'll get back here soon.

It's going around. Monday was Patrick's birthday and all he wanted to do was go for a nice dinner with me since his sister wanted to babysit (she demands to--LOL!) and everything was so crowded. On a Monday. He said it sucks having a birthday near Christmas, I was surprised, I always thought it would be cool. I hope our daughter still loves having her birthday so close to Christmas when she gets older. She loves being 9 days before Daddy. 99 was one year I didn't have to buy him a present. ROFL!

LOL! I know so many people who have birthdays around Christmas. My mom's is on the Epiphany (Jan 6). I always get her 2 gifts during all the big Christmas shopping. I knew a lot of kids who got gypped out of presents, too. ("gyp". does that stem from the word "gypsy"? Because then that wasn't very nice of me to use it).

Hmmm, you know I never thougt about that word before. It would be interesting to learn the history. Dec and Jan are big times in our family. We have my oldest on Dec 10th, Patrick on the 19th, Christmas then a break til Jan 28th when our son and baby have their birthdays (the baby (almost 2) was born on her brother's 2nd birthday on purpose--long story, LOL!). I'm all alone in the summer. LOL! Unless I move on of my sister in law's and my own sister down here. :)

My mom and Patrick know about the doubling up on presents thing. My Mom is Jan 11, and Patrick 6 days before Chirstmas. (oops, ramble on, hahaha)
